A trend that is not exclusive to our country: TikTok is the queen globally with an average use of 107 min/day, well ahead of Snapchat (72 min/day), Instagram (45 min/day), Facebook ( 20 min/day), Pinterest (16 min/day) or Twitter (10 min/day). Thus, TikTokwith its short videos and its looping format, prevails over Instagram (56 min/day) and captures the attention of minors for double or even triple the time than other social networks such as Snapchat (21 min/day), Facebook (20 min/day), Twitter (10 min/day) o Pinterest (9 min/day), as reflected in the latest report ‘From Alpha to Zeta, educating the digital generations’, prepared by Qustodio. It is the digital tool in which minors spend the most minutes in Spain, only surpassed by the Roblox video game (144 min/day). More than half of Spanish children (61%) spend an average of 96 minutes a day connected to TikTok.
